Aritzia at the Houston Galleria is set to get a major upgrade. According to a recently filed Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit, the women’s apparel brand is embarking on a $9 million remodel of the store, which opened in 2020.
The permit further details that Aritzia’s construction project is expected to start toward the end of April next year and is slated to be completed by the end of October 2027. If all goes well with permitting and the estimated $9 million construction project, the newly remodeled Houston Galleria Aritzia should be completed and fully open by next fall.
State filings indicate the $9 million project is planned to significantly expand and remodel the boutique into a nearly 20,000-square-foot space. Most users on Reddit agree that this larger space will greatly improve the shopping experience compared to the current layout.
What Now Houston reached out to Aritzia founder Brian Hill to find out more about the major remodel project. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“We’re about good design, quality materials and timeless style — all with the wellbeing of our People and Planet in mind,” the Aritzia website reads.
