Arepa 58 Latin Kitchen is bringing Venezuelan-inspired cuisine to Ponte Vedra with a new restaurant currently under construction at The Shoppes at Valley Ridge.
According to a city filing the upcoming eatery is planned for 10580 U.S. 1, where it will join the growing mix of businesses at the shopping center.
While details about the menu and concept remain limited, the restaurant’s name suggests a focus on traditional Venezuelan fare, including arepas, cornmeal pockets typically filled with a variety of meats, cheeses and fresh ingredients.
The new restaurant will occupy the former home of Dank Burrito, which closed late last year after a brief run at the shopping center, according to St John’s Citizen.
The Shoppes at Valley Ridge continues to welcome new tenants, with several businesses operating in the center and additional restaurant concepts expected to open in the coming months.
What Now Media Group reached out to the owner of Arepa 58 Latin Kitchen for additional information but had not received a response by the time of publication.
