Fat Tuesday is ready for another round in Jacksonville as the frozen cocktail chain has listed a Five Points location as ‘coming soon’ on its website, marking its return to the city.
The location will be at 1045 Park Street, a return to the city after nearly three decades. The address appears to be the former Rain Dogs space, as reported by the Jacksonville Business Journal.
Founded on Bourbon Street in New Orleans in 1984, Fat Tuesday has become known for its signature frozen daiquiris served in a variety of flavors, alongside cocktails and shareable drinks designed for everything from casual get-togethers to nights out. Today, the brand operates locations across the U.S., particularly in popular entertainment and tourist destinations.
Whether customers stick with a classic Piña Colada or Margarita or opt for one of the brand’s signature creations like the 190 Octane or Cat 5 Hurricane, Fat Tuesday has built its reputation around colorful frozen beverages that have become synonymous with the New Orleans party scene. The company also offers a range of specialty cocktails and branded merchandise through its locations.
An opening date for the Five Points location has not yet been announced.
