The golf-focused tavern has officially closed its San Marco location. Fore Score Golf Tavern served its last meal over the last weekend, on August 2. The restaurant team shared the closure announcement on social media.
Fore Score Golf Tavern Closed San Marco Location
Located at 1407 Atlantic Boulevard, Fore Score Golf Tavern was founded in 2022 by Daniel and Kerrie Hileman. The restaurant combined golf entertainment with a full-service dining experience. The concept combined virtual golf gaming with a full-service restaurant and bar.
The restaurant had four full-swing golf simulators and also featured multi-sport options, including soccer, baseball, hockey, and more. The menu included elevated, sophisticated fast-casual dishes and was paired with a lively, full bar. The restaurant also hosted weekly entertainment events.
On August 1, the restaurant team shared the official closure news with a social media announcement. “This weekend will be our final weekend serving this incredible community,” stated the team.
The team reflected on the restaurant’s four years serving the San Marco community.
The team thanked the community and customers for their love and support and said, “From all of us at Fore Score, thank you for welcoming us into the San Marco community. It has truly been an honor to serve you.”

Gate Parkway Location Remains Open
The team plans to focus operations on Fore Score’s second location on Gate Parkway. In the post, the team confirmed that Fore Score will not renew its San Marco location lease.
The Gate Parkway location at 7570 Gate Parkway #109 in Jacksonville will become the brand’s primary location.
“Our Gate Parkway location is open and thriving, and we’re excited to dedicate our full attention to making it the best experience possible,” mentioned the team.
Even though the San Marco location has closed, it does not mean the end of Fore Score’s story. The brand will continue to serve the Jacksonville community with its second location.
