A new food truck will soon be serving up Caribbean eats in the Jacksonville area. This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork for the new food truck, which is called Zoe Caribbean Grill.

The submitted paperwork places Zoe Caribbean Grill’s home base at 2346 W Beaver Street in Jacksonville, at Empowered Kitchen, a non-profit business incubator founded in 2018 by Chef Chriss Brown, along with “six of Jacksonville, Florida’s most influential female entrepreneurs. As their businesses have expanded, they wanted to give back to the community by empowering other women to find independence through a career in the food industry.”

What Now confirmed news of Zoe Caribbean Grill’s launch co-owner Markens Redon. Redon says an opening is expected in August.

“It’s going to be Haitian food and beverages,” said Redon.

Redon says the truck will be situated at the flea market near the military base. So keep an eye out for Zoe Caribbean Grill food truck at the MWR Mayport flea market!
