A family-owned burger chain has announced the closure of its Wildlight location after seven years of service. Tasty’s Fresh Burgers and Fries will serve its final meal this weekend. The three other locations of the chain in Yulee, Fernandina Beach, and Kingsland will continue operating.

Tasty’s Fresh Burgers Wildlight Store Set to Close

The chain gained popularity because of its smash-style burgers that are made to order using a fresh beef blend. The chain is known for using fresh meat. Along with that, the chain’s menu features hand-cut French fries that are made fresh daily and thick milkshakes.

The Tasty’s Fresh Burgers chain owner, Katy Dougherty, announced the closure in a social media post.

“Sunday, August 23, will be the final day of business for our Tasty’s Wildlight location.”

Dougherty thanked the Wildlight community for supporting the restaurant and wrote, “You brought your families, celebrated milestones, met friends for lunch, stopped in after school, and allowed us to become a small part of your everyday lives.”

Katy also thanked the loyal staff for their service over the last seven years of operation. However, Katy did not mention any official reason for its sudden closure.

Other Tasty’s Locations Will Remain Open

Even though the Wildlight location is permanently closing, the chain will continue to serve the community with its other locations.

The three locations include Yulee, Fernandina Beach, and Kingsland. “Our other locations will remain open, and we hope you will continue making memories with us there,” confirmed Katy.

As the Wildlight location wraps up its operations, Katy also encouraged the community and customers to visit the restaurant and enjoy one more meal. In the post, the owner added, “We hope this final week will be filled with familiar faces, favorite meals, and good memories!”
