Whit’s Frozen Custard is coming to Yulee, bringing its fresh-made frozen custard and lineup of sweet treats to the area.
A city filing lists the new location at 464073 SR 200, while the company’s website lists the location as ‘coming soon’.
Whit’s makes its frozen custard fresh daily, with vanilla, chocolate and rotating flavors of the week. Customers can order it by the scoop or turn it into one of the brand’s signature treats, including Whitsers, Whitties, shakes, sundaes and floats.
The Whitser blends custard with toppings, while Whitties sandwich custard between two cookies. The menu also includes shakes made with custard and milk, sundaes with toppings and classic root beer floats.
Whit’s has a growing presence in Northeast Florida. The brand’s local story began in May 2014, when Michael and Jessica McKinley opened the first Florida location in Atlantic Beach. The company has since expanded to multiple locally owned shops around the Jacksonville area, including Jacksonville Beach, Kernan Square, Mandarin, South Jacksonville and Oakleaf.
The Yulee shop will add another location to the brand’s Florida lineup. An opening date has not yet been announced.
