Clay County’s next wave of growth is bringing a familiar name to the corner of Blanding Boulevard and Henley Road. Take 5 Oil Change will fill one of five tenant spots confirmed for a new retail development there, on an 11.4-acre parcel that The Ferber Company, a privately held real estate firm based in Ponte Vedra Beach, closed on August 7. The site is expected to open by late 2027.

Take 5 Oil Change is owned by Driven Brands Holdings, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based parent company behind a wide portfolio of automotive service brands, including Meineke Car Care Centers, Maaco, Carstar and 1-800-Radiator & A/C. Driven Brands is led by President and CEO Danny Rivera, who took over the role in May 2025 after previously serving as the company’s chief operating officer and, before that, as president of Take 5 itself. Take 5 has become Driven Brands’ flagship growth driver in recent years, posting more than two dozen straight quarters of same-store sales growth and expanding to more than 1,200 locations system-wide.

Take 5 built its brand around quick, stay-in-your-car oil changes, typically completed in about ten minutes without customers needing to leave their vehicle. The chain has continued expanding aggressively even as some competitors in the auto maintenance space have pulled back, positioning itself as one of the fastest growing operators in North America’s quick lube industry.

The Middleburg location joins Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse as part of the development’s first phase, with construction on the broader project already underway.
