Hawthorne Craft Bar & Kitchen is one of the newest concepts set to hit the Valley this fall. The elevated sports bar is expected to open in the Southern Highlands within the KAKTUSlife plaza at 10620 Dean Martin Dr, Suite 100, according to a Clark County permit.
What Now Las Vegas briefly spoke with the man behind it all: restaurateur Robert Parekh.
“I’m very excited to be opening Hawthorne Craft Bar and Kitchen,” Parekh said via text.
Parekh excitedly confirmed the opening and later shared that the plan is to open Hawthorne Craft Bar & Kitchen by mid-October.
“We looked for the right spot for over a year before deciding on settling in Southern Highlands. We feel that our concept is perfect for the underserved, residential neighborhood we’re joining. The ease of access from the nearby I15 & Cactus intersection also allows for a broad range of guests from the surrounding areas,” Parekh said.
“We are planning a Grand Opening Weekend that will include activations that embrace our concept and introduce us to the neighborhood.”
For Parekh, this was a dream that was a long time in the making. With over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Parkeh has been a part of eight restaurant openings, ranging from small, independent operations to large-scale hotel and casino-owned concepts.
Parekh is known for his work with Fontainebleau, the TAP, and Trustworthy Brewing, where he was brewing beer, something new and exciting on the Las Vegas Strip.
His new concept promises an enticing happy hour and live entertainment.
“My wife and I, along with a couple of very close friends, decided that our collective expertise could be combined to create a unique concept that would have broad appeal as a neighborhood concept,” Parekh said.
“Hawthorne Craft Bar and Kitchen will serve a combination of scratch-made traditional pub fare, such as Fish & Chips, and our interpretation of modern American dishes which a variety of international flavors and spices, such as Kerala-spiced Fried Chicken, which gives a traditional southern fried chicken a big Indian twist.”
“Our goal is to give you an elevated sports bar experience with innovative cocktails, craft beer, and food you crave incessantly,” the Hawthorne Craft Bar and Kitchen website reads.
“Add exemplary service, lots of TVs, live entertainment, and mind-blowing audio visual enhancements, and we hope to make Hawthorne Craft Bar and Kitchen your neighborhood hangout!”
Check it all out for yourself when Hawthorne Craft Bar & Kitchen opens in the Southern Highlands within the KAKTUSlife plaza at 10620 Dean Martin Dr, Suite 100, this fall.
