As Dutch Bros Coffee becomes a fixture of the city, with its streamlined locations and “killer coffee,” the coffee chain’s footprint may be about to grow even more. A new location appears to be in the works for 3353 W Cactus Ave.
Land use paperwork was recently submitted to Clark County for a restaurant/coffee shop at that address. Behind the project is BP Holdings, a company with a history of developing ground-up Dutch Bros locations in Las Vegas. What Now Las Vegas has been unable to reach BP Holdings President Joseph Bonifatto for comment on plans for the location.
Dutch Bros began as a pushcart in Grants Pass, Oregon, in 1992 and has since grown to more than 500 locations in 11 states. Dutch Bros offers a variety of coffee and tea drinks, along with branded drinks like the Dutch Freeze and the Dutch Bros Blue Rebel. Currently featured drinks include an iced Nitro Cold Brew; the Birthday Cake Frost with almond roca, white chocolate, and confetti sprinkles; and the hot Golden Eagle (vanilla & caramel breve w/ caramel drizzle).
The Cactus Ave address, located on the southwest corner of the intersection with Dean Martin Dr, across Cactus from a Chevron gas station, appears currently to be zoned residential. With no other coffee purveyors in the immediate vicinity, the coffee shop would seem to be well-placed there. No information is currently available concerning the timeline for an opening on Cactus Ave.
