Ocean Prime, the modern American restaurant and lounge from award-winning hospitality company Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, is soon to pull into Las Vegas with its first location on the Las Vegas Strip. Paperwork was filed recently with Clark County for an Ocean Prime project, with plans for a new restaurant with a bar and outdoor seating.
The chain of classy American restaurants is currently operating more than 15 locations in the United States, in locales as far-flung as Boston, MA, Naples, FL, and Beverly Hills, CA.
The Beverly Hills dinner menu opens with sushi rolls like the Camden Roll (Tempura Shrimp, Cream Cheese, Scallion, Beef Carpaccio) and the Spicy Tuna, along with On Ice seafood choices like Oysters on the Half Shell, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, and a Whole Maine Lobster. Appetizers that include Point Judith Calamari and Jumbo Lump Crap Cake, plus soups and salads like Lobster Bisque and Shellfish Cobb, lead us into tempting selection of entrees.
These include seafood choices like Ahi Tuna with mango, avocado, cashews, and a spicy sesame soy glaze or Sea Scallops with Parmesan risotto, English peas, and a citrus vinaigrette, plus a selection of Chicken and Chops dishes, Prime Steaks, and “Accessories” like Garlic Shrimp Scampi.
Details on the Las Vegas menu and opening date are currently unavailable. What Now Las reached out on Wednesday morning to Cameron Mitchell Restaurants VP of Ocean Prime Mitch Miller. Miller was not available for comment.
