Ole Manny’s Seafood Shack, the “Hispanic family-owned and operated Baja-style restaurant on wheels,” may be about to find a permanent home. Licensing paperwork submitted to the City of Las Vegas by MSJ Group Hospitality, LLC shows Ole Manny’s Seafood Shack opening at 61 W Utah Ave, Suite 121. (There’s also paperwork submitted for a full liquor license to go along with it!)
The food truck’s tacos come in varieties like the Spicy Octopus Taco (Grilled Octopus in chile de arbol sauce, cheese, cabbage, pico de gallo & chipotle crema), the Gobernador Taco (Chopped Shrimp grilled with pico de gallo, cheese, cabbage & chipotle crema), and the Carne Asada Taco. That’s alongside burritos like the Cali Burrito (Grilled Steak, fries, cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole & chipotle crema) and the Surf & Turf Burrito.
Meanwhile, the menu lists seven different ceviche varieties, including Octopus Ceviche (Cooked Octopus prepared in lime juice & spicy ketchup, mixed with pico de gallo, cucumber, pickled onions, carrots & avocado), Raw Shrimp Ceviche, and Ole Manny’s Green Aguachile (Prepared in a SPICY jalapeño lime sauce, avocado, cucumber, cilantro, pickled onions & carrots; Choice of: Raw Shrimp, Cooked Shrimp, Octopus or Fish; Upgrade to Mixed for +$2).
“Ole Manny’s was founded in 2022 by Manny Tenorio and his family,” the Ole Manny’s website says. “Manny ventured into Las Vegas’s gastronomic scene when he started a popular restaurant on Las Vegas Blvd in 2017, Bajamar Seafood & Tacos. After five years, numerous awards such as hidden gem of the year and best tacos in the state of Nevada, we are proud to introduce our newest project. Ole Manny’s Seafood Shack turned up the heat on innovative, fresh, and delicious tacos and seafood.”
What Now reached out to Manny Tenorio on Monday to ask about plans for an Ole Manny’s Seafood Shack brick-and-mortar. Tenorio was not immediately available for comment.
