The Alaskan Fish Spot is a new food truck set to bring fresh seafood to the Valley. According to a City of Las Vegas permit, the new mobile eatery will operate out of 2121 E Sahara Ave.
Owner, Lechaun Baker, told What Now Las Vegas that he plans to open The Alaskan Fish Spot this spring in front of the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet at 1717 S Decatur Blvd. Unfortunately, Baker was unable to share further details by the time of this publication. However, he did share that he’s planning to bring some of the best seafood Alaska has to offer to Sin City.
The East Sahara Ave. address that The Alaskan Fish Spot is listed as operating out of sits in the Winchester neighborhood. The shopping center is primarily recognized as an automotive and commercial site, housing AutoSavvy Las Vegas and the AAA Bar & Restaurant Supply. Perhaps, the new brand will operate out of AAA Bar & Restaurant Supply before roaming the streets of Las Vegas with fresh Alaskan seafood eats.
Baker did say that the brand has a social media page, but not a website yet. With little to no information online, there’s not much available about the new food truck set to come to the Valley this year.
But the Alaskan fish market in Vegas is beginning to boom, with brands like J&R Alaskan Fish and Chips in Centennial serving as real competition. Though there isn’t a menu available yet for The Alaskan Fish Spot, we suspect that the new eatery will be offering similar dishes like fish & chips, baked seafood, and more.
Keep your eyes open, and your ears perked for the latest on this exciting new addition to Las Vegas’s seafood scene.
The Alaskan Fish Spot is anticipated to operate out of 2121 E Sahara Ave and open in front of the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet at 1717 S Decatur Blvd by this spring.
