The retail center on the northern corner of North Rampart Boulevard and West Lake Mead Boulevard will soon be home to House of Empanada, an empanada spot from a company with three locations currently operating in Utah.

Utah-based company Duque Foods is behind the opening, which is expected soon at 2233 N Rampart Boulevard, according to licensing paperwork submitted to the City of Las Vegas.

“We’re going to be open with the next 40 days,” co-owner Diego Fernandez told What Now Thursday. “It’ll be the same menu as at other locations.”

Duque Foods offers a wide range of empanadas varieties, including savory flavors like Grilled Beef, Spinach & Cheese, and Breakfast (Sausage, Egg & Cheese), and sweet ones like Mango & Coconut, Peach, and Apple & Dulce de Leche.

Opening at the West Lake Mead Boulevard-North Rampart Boulevard intersection, House of Empanada joins restaurants like German Bread Bakery, Port of Subs, and Pierogi Village.
