It’s been almost a year and a half since What Now reported on plans for WaBa Grill’s Nevada debut. The franchise’s first location in the valley has since launched successfully in Henderson, at 3458 St. Rose Parkway with franchisee Raj Sangha at the helm.

And now, licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County by LV Fresh Foods LLC shows a new WaBa Grill in the works in Las Vegas, at 7060 S Durango Dr, Suite 115.

That would mean twice as much of the brand’s popular selection of bowls, plates, and Boom Boom Tacos for everybody in the valley, featuring proteins like Chicken, Rib-Eye Steak, WaBa (Chicken & Steak), Salmon, Shrimp, Plantspired Steak, and Tofu.

What Now reached out to Raj Sangha on Tuesday to ask about plans for a Las Vegas location. Sangha was not immediately available to discuss the project.

“At WaBa Grill, we’re redefining what it means to eat better,” says the brand’s website. “Born in LA and inspired by the balanced, better-for-you traditions of Asian cuisine, we craft bold, grilled-to-order meals designed to nourish your body and satisfy your cravings—without compromise. Whether you’re on the go or enjoying a quick bite with friends, WaBa Grill delivers fresh, flavorful dishes that fit seamlessly into your active lifestyle. Because at WaBa Grill, every meal is made to leave you feeling Pleasingly Nourished.”
