DD’s Discount is embarking on another Las Vegas Valley opening. According to a City of Las Vegas permit, the off-price retail chain is set to open a new store in Central East Las Vegas within the Charleston Plaza at 1812 E Charleston Blvd.
Situated near the intersection of E. Charleston Blvd. and Bruce St., between Eastern Ave. and Maryland Pkwy, the new DD’s Discount will open alongside an Albertsons grocery store, Ross Dress for Less, Dollar Tree, and Del Taco in the strip center. No word yet on when exactly the new DD’s Discount store will open.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to the brand’s EVP of Strategy, Althea Peng, and VP of Operations, Dee Blankenship, to find out more about the exciting new addition to the Valley’s discount retail offerings. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“Our stores are conveniently located in neighborhood shopping centers so you can start and finish all of your shopping close to home. We have a simple checkout process that’s a breeze, and fresh merchandise arriving daily so you’ll always find something new,” the DD’s Discount website reads.
“We’re all about giving you amazing deals on the hottest fashions and quality home merchandise, so it’s no surprise that DD’s stands for Deep Discounts! You won’t believe the prices.”

DD’s Discount was founded in 2004 by Ross Stores to target moderate-income households. It offers clothing, accessories, footwear, and home goods at savings ranging from 20% to 70% off regular department and discount store prices. From its early start with a handful of locations in California and the Southwest, the brand grew significantly over the next two decades.
There are now more than 350 DD’s Discount locations across the United States, with the highest concentration in Houston, San Antonio, and Miami. There are approximately five to eight DD’s Discount locations operating in Nevada, all of which are situated in the Las Vegas Valley.
DD’s Discount is anticipated to open in Central East Las Vegas within the Charleston Plaza at 1812 E Charleston Blvd later this year.
