Chris & Pitts BBQ Closes Bellflower Location After 75 Years
Chris & Pitts BBQ, a long-running barbecue restaurant in Los Angeles County, announced that it has closed its Bellflower location at 9839 Artesia Blvd. Chris & Pitts BBQ was established in 1949, when Chris Pelonis established the restaurant in Southern California.
In a social media post, the restaurant thanked customers and wrote, “With grateful hearts, we say goodbye to our beloved location and thank you to all of our loyal customers and dedicated employees who have made the past 75 years so special.”
The restaurant does not provide a reason behind the decision.
Chris & Pitts BBQ said it will continue serving customers at its Downey location. The restaurant encouraged customers to visit and enjoy their favorite meals there at that location.
The restaurant became known for barbecue, ribs, its signature sauce, and other classic American dishes.
