Popular chicken-finger brand Raising Cane’s is making its debut in Santa Monica. The new restaurant will open on June 10 at 1401 Third Street Promenade. It is just steps away from the beach and the Santa Monica Pier.

The restaurant chain is known for its freshly prepared chicken fingers and signature Cane’s Sauce. It is one of the fastest-growing restaurant chains and serves made-to-order meals. According to the company, its chicken is marinated for at least 24 hours before being cooked to order.

The brand has more than 1,000 restaurants worldwide. It plans to open nearly 100 new restaurants in 2026.

“We’re so excited to bring our ONE LOVE to Santa Monica,” said Raising Cane’s Restaurant Leader Dustin Fossum. “Opening on the Third Street Promenade puts us right where the energy is: locals, travelers, beach days, and big nights out. We can’t wait to become part of the fabric of this community and share what we do best with everyone who walks through our doors. Welcome to the Westside, Caniacs!”

The new restaurant features a design that is inspired by Santa Monica’s surf and skate culture. It includes local artwork, a Ferris wheel mural inspired by the nearby pier, and surfboard-themed decor. The California-themed merchandise displays add to the restaurant’s local inspiration.

The display also celebrates founder Todd Graves’ journey and the company’s history. The display highlights Graves’ journey from working as a boilermaker and sockeye salmon fisherman to opening the first Raising Cane’s restaurant.

The first customer in line will get a special gift basket. The restaurant will offer free Santa Monica beach towels and Box Combo cards for the first 200 customers purchasing a combo meal. There will also be $1,000 donations to the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Monica and the Santa Monica Education Foundation. The festivities will also include live entertainment, including a DJ, caricature artist, balloon twister, and face painter.

Raising Cane’s is set to make a strong first impression in Santa Monica. The restaurant will join the mix of retailers and eateries along Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade.
