San Francisco-based coffee company Philz has a new location in the works in the San Fernando Valley. It will open at 18640 West Ventura Blvd, according to the Philz website (@whatsnowsfv posted the space on Instagram).
A spokesperson with Philz told What Now Los Angeles that the location is slated to open later this year. The team is still finalizing an exact opening timeline and further details regarding the location. They plan to share more information as they grow closer to opening.
The coffee brand launched in 2003 in the Mission District of San Francisco. The brand now has 17 locations in the Los Angeles area as well as locations across California and as far as Chicago.
Currently, the closest Philz locations to the Tarzana community are in Studio City and Calabasas.
