Beef Box German Shawarma, a fast-casual restaurant serving German-style shawarma and other street food, is getting ready to open a new location in North Hollywood at 4929 N. Lankershim Boulevard.
The company’s second location is expected to open in the former home of Dog Haus, according to signage on the building that WhatsNewSFV first reported. The company’s website lists its current location at 1023 E. Colorado Street in Glendale. Beef Box has not announced an exact opening date for the North Hollywood location. Customers can expect slow-cooked meats, fresh toppings, house-made sauces, and generous portions, with dine-in, pickup, and delivery options.
Beef Box German Shawarma describes its concept as a modern take on German-style shawarma. The menu includes shawarma served with house-made bread, with chicken, pork, or beef available. The restaurant also serves a Beef Box Signature Bowl with grilled meat over rice, cabbage, tomato, and creamy slaw.
Other menu items include a Beef Box Shawarma Meat Pizza, French fries, and sauces such as mild, spicy, and jalapeño. Drink options include Tan, Akroshka, Jermuk, Perrier, soft drinks, tomato juice, water, and Red Bull. The restaurant says it prepares its menu daily using local ingredients, with items subject to seasonal availability.
The existing Glendale restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight, according to the company’s website. Customers can dine in, order directly for pickup, or use DoorDash for delivery. The North Hollywood location will add another San Fernando Valley presence for the growing concept.
The new restaurant will bring Beef Box German Shawarma to Lankershim Boulevard, surrounded by residential, retail, and entertainment options. This will be an excellent landing spot as the restaurant expands its presence in the San Fernando Valley. Further details about the opening date and the new location’s hours have not yet been announced.
