Papa Juan’s Baja Grill & Bar, a Baja-style seafood restaurant known for fish tacos, ceviche, and other Mexican-inspired dishes, is preparing to open a new location at 19230 W. Nordhoff Street in Northridge.
The company recently submitted documents to the Los Angeles City Planning Department to open its third location near the Walnut Grove Shopping Center. No opening date has been announced. The new location is expected to offer the same menu found at the company’s existing restaurants, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, ceviche, seafood cocktails, and dinner plates.
Papa Juan’s Baja Grill currently has locations in San Fernando and Panorama City, according to the company’s website. The San Fernando restaurant is located at 227 N. Maclay Ave., while the Panorama City location is at 13755 Roscoe Blvd., Suite 106.
Papa Juan’s Baja Grill features a seafood-focused menu with options like fish, shrimp, lobster, and mahi mahi tacos, along with tuna, pork belly, and octopus tacos. Ceviche offerings include fish, shrimp, jaiva, and octopus, served with lime juice and vegetables. The restaurant also serves shrimp cocktails, aguachiles, seafood soup, clam chowder, poke, salads, and various dinner plates.
Vegetarian options include soyrizo tacos and burritos, while the burrito selection includes steak, chicken, shrimp, fish, lobster, birria, and a surf-and-turf option. Appetizers include chips and guacamole, shrimp flautas, and fish and chips, and dessert features bread pudding with ice cream.
