According to a recent liquor license application, it looks like Yama Sushi, Sake & Attitude will occupy ground floor retail space at The Bora mixed-use apartment complex in the heart of K-Town. The new restaurant is less than two miles away from the company’s Sushi With Attitude ghost kitchen, located at 1842 W Washington Blvd

Yama Seafood has been a staple in San Gabriel for four decades specializing in sushi, nigiri and sashimi platters. The group partnered with EJL Entertainment to expand beyond its SGV roots, and opened Sushi With Attitude in 2020 with a significantly expanded menu of Sushibis (sushi musubi), fried rice, fried noodles, fried chicken, ramen, sandwiches, “Asian fries,” “Asian nachos,” and crispy rice. Its West L.A. store, Yama Sushi, Sake & Attitude, opened in 2022 offering sushi trays, platters, sashimi, bento boxes, bowls, katsu and somen salads.

The Bora apartments, developed by Bando Engineering & Construction Co., completed construction last March as the first self-developed project by a South Korean construction company in the U.S., Pulse previously reported.

An opening date has not been announced for the new Yama K-Town location.
