Series A, a Beverly Hills coffee shop known for its cream-top drinks and specialty coffee and matcha, is preparing to open its second location at Westfield Century City, according to Toddrickallen.
The upcoming cafe will be located on Level 1 of the shopping center, according to the Westfield directory, which currently lists the business as coming soon. The new shop is targeting the first quarter of 2027, co-founder Derek Rhie told What Now Los Angeles.
Series A is a coffee shop known for its specialty coffee, matcha, and cream-top lattes. As The Infatuation states, “nothing is safe from becoming a drink.” Its menu features drinks such as black matcha cream top, mango sticky rice cream tea, honeycomb toffee latte, and sweet potato coffee.
The business currently operates its original location at 8328 Wilshire Boulevard and is preparing to expand with its second shop at Westfield Century City.
The Century City opening is part of a broader expansion strategy. Rhie said Series A is in lease negotiations for several more locations. However, discussions are still preliminary, and no additional sites are close to being announced. For now, the focus remains on opening and establishing the Century City shop.
Rhie said the company’s existing investors played a key role in securing the Century City location and evaluating other opportunities. “We could certainly use more investment,” he said, noting that additional capital would support the Series A’s growth plans.
