Mark and Jonnie Houston, fixtures of the L.A. nightlife scene, seem to be working on a new restaurant and bar at the Doheny Room space called Mark & Jonnie’s Houston Gazette, reports the WeHo Times. Doheny Room’s website says the venue is temporarily closed but remains open for private events.

The identical twins are widely known for their nightlife ventures, which include Piano Bar, La Descarga, Harvard & Stone, Pour Vous, No Vacancy, Dirty Laundry, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s, Butchers and Barbers, Break Room 86, and, most recently, Level 8 in the Moxy.

Mark and Jonnie Houston have followed in their mother’s footsteps, Ploenpidh Houston, known for launching popular concepts like MonteCarlo in Koreatown and Raji’s on Hollywood Boulevard.

An opening date has not been announced for Mark & Jonnie’s Houston Gazette.
