According to the Los Cerritos Center’s website, North Italia, the beloved Italian restaurant chain, will soon be opening inside the mall’s former California Pizza Kitchen space.
In addition to its fresh, handmade pastas and pizzas, North Italia’s menu includes small plates like beef carpaccio and fried calamari, a variety of salads and sandwiches, plus an extensive list of wines, beers and cocktails.
North Italia offers an upscale casual dining experience and serves lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and weekday happy hour. The modern Italian eatery was originally created by Sam Fox in 2002. In 2019, the Cheesecake Factory acquired the company along with Sam Fox’s restaurant incubator, Fox Restaurant Concepts, and has been leading the brand’s growth ever since.
Today, North Italia has 38 open locations throughout the U.S., including seven in California.
