Kavita Grocery, located at 10201 Venice Blvd, has plans to expand its space in Palms. The market, which currently occupies a 1,109-square-foot ground-floor corner space, will expand into the adjacent 2,182-square-foot retail space to create a 3,291-square-foot market, according to plans filed with the Los Angeles City Planning Department.
The market is also seeking to sell a full line of alcoholic beverages, according to the filed application. The expanded Kavita Grocery is expected to operate from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
Kavita Grocery is located near Smart & Final and Ruben’s Tacos.
