A beloved Memphis-area restaurant is experiencing a revival after a tumultuous year. A pair of entrepreneurs have taken the reins at Belly Acres Southaven and will be opening the new location in Silo Square in December, reports Daily Memphian.

The restaurant is setting its tables at 2841 May Boulevard. Belly Acres will be operated by brothers Adam and Brian Leith, a team with a love of and vision for the restaurant. Belly Acres has faced some legal and financial struggles this year, however the Leiths are steering the ship to right. Adam Leith explains: “We’ve spent most of our lives right here in Memphis, so we didn’t want to sit back and watch a local staple go under.”

Locals eager to sample the concept’s fare have reason to celebrate; Belly Acres is set to open its Silo Square location on December 12. Southaven residents will doubtlessly rejoice to see the restaurant finally ready to greet guests; news of the location first broke in January of 2022. However great food-and good management-is always worth the wait. The menu is certain to have something to please every palate-to quote the website, “From our 100% grass fed beef burgers and hand breaded free range chicken tenders to our gigantic salads, fresh homemade veggies, or vegetarian burger options-We have it all!”
