A new bake shop, Chilemon Bakery, is making its way to 4509 Summer Ave. As an offshoot of Cevicheria and Grill Chilemon, a Latin American and Peruvian restaurant that opened its doors in 2022, the bakery will be seamlessly integrated into the existing establishment. It will exclusively handle the sale of Colombian and Venezuelan baked goods, complementing the culinary offerings of the restaurant.

Women-owned and operated by Ruby Sanchez and her daughter Louisa, the duo hopes to officially open the bakery before the end of 2023, pending the completion of all necessary permits. Diners can look forward to an authentic array of South American baked goods, including golfeados (cheese sticky buns), piñitas (sweet bread), roscón de guayaba (sweet round bread), cakes, and more.

For an exclusive sneak peek into the tempting world of sweet treats, follow the bakery’s Instagram page, and get ready to treat your taste buds to a symphony of flavors at Chilemon Bakery.
