Maroon Brew Co. is coming to Collierville in mid-2024, Memphis Beer Blog was first to report.

Head Brewer and Co-Owner Maggie Emerson, alongside husband Gerald Emerson, this month secured a lease to bring Maroon Brew Co. to 642 West Poplar. The 4,000 square-foot space was most recently home to Thomas Meat and Seafood Market.

“Signed, sealed and delivered!,” Emerson posted to Facebook at the time of the lease signing on Sept. 12, 2023. “642 West Poplar Ave, we’re coming for ya with an amazing buildout!”

Construction on the space is expected to get underway before the end of 2023 and is expected to last about six months, Emerson told Memphis Beer Blog.

In addition to its beers — with “core” options including a blonde ale, amber ale and wheat beer — in true brewpub fashion, Maroon Beer Co. will offer eats like “gourmet hot dogs” and other “shareables.”

“I will be brewing up some delicious craft beers and working alongside our [Maroon Brew Co.] team to bring you delicious, gourmet hot dogs and shareables,” Emerson writes on the company’s website. “My husband, Gerald, and I are Collierville residents and our kids are at Collierville schools. We are so excited to bring you our family-friendly brewpub concept with a focus on our Town. Go Dragons!”
