The future looks sunny for a beloved Memphis dining institution dedicated to serving up authentic island flavors. Curry N Jerk Authentic Caribbean Cuisine is bringing its popular cuisine to a new location in the FedEx World Hub.

The sprawling sorting facility, described as “the heart of the FedEx global network”, spans 940 acres and employs 13,000 team members, ensuring Curry N Jerk will have plenty of hungry stomachs to fill.

The eatery announced the new location via social media post yesterday, where ownership expressed both enthusiasm for the new venture and gratitude to loyal supporters, saying: ”This new endeavor is a major step for our team, and we’re proud to bring our authentic Caribbean cuisine, bold island flavors, and signature jerk experience to the Fed Ex Workers. Thank you to everyone who has supported Curry n Jerk and helped make this growth possible.”

The community showed up in the comments section, further proving how beloved Curry n Jerk is locally through a resounding chorus of “congratulations”.

An opening timeline is not presently available for the concept’s FedEx World Hub debut; invested parties can follow the eatery’s Facebook page for promised opening details.

It is unclear how or even if Curry n Jerk’s new location will differ from its current 150 Munroe Avenue home. What is certain is that the restaurant will continue serving up its delicious “fusion of Jamaican and Panamanian dishes made from family recipes that give an authentic taste to meals from these countries.”
