It looks like a new restaurant is in the works for downtown Memphis.

Docks on Beale is set to open soon at 310 Beale St, according to recently filed city permits. The eatery’s Google Business page confirms this news.

Described as “elevated but approachable,” Docks on Beale’s OpenTable listing reveals plans to serve brunch and dinner seven days a week. The menu will blend “old-world and new-world” flavors with “an artistic twist,” while the bar will feature an impressive list of both classic and creative cocktails.

The space itself will be visually captivating, featuring a striking faux tree with a 20-foot canopy of greenery, plush velvet banquettes, and ivy-covered accents.

Drew Doss, Director of Operations at Docks, told What Now Memphis that the building will house a parlor room, a dining area, a grand courtyard garden bar, and a second-floor Elk Room, which boasts three upscale bars with a “colonial speakeasy feel.”

In addition to the upcoming Memphis eatery, the brand has a newly-opened location, Docks Off 5th, in New York City, as well as a recently shuttered site, Docks on the Harbor, in Maryland.

“Guests can expect an unforgettable dining experience with Instagram-worthy dishes, drinks, and décor. At Docks we always say ‘the camera eats first,'” reads the restaurant’s description. “Docks will be a new go-to spot for celebrations, special occasions, and private events for locals and visitors.”

Doss noted that while an official grand opening date hasn’t been set, he’s eager to bring the concept to Bluff City. “We are super excited to be a part of the community,” he said.

Stay tuned for updates on the opening date. In the meantime, take a look at the brunch, dinner, and drink menus here.
