Under the franchisee management of husband-and-wife duo Mowbray and Cherina Rowand, the highly anticipated Esco Restaurant and Tapas is gearing up to welcome guests in November 2023. Located at 158 Lt George W Lee Ave, this upscale establishment boasts a luxurious lounge and an intriguing fusion of flavors.
Originating in Atlanta back in 2016, the swanky eatery was co-founded by Grammy-winning rapper 2 Chainz and self-proclaimed serial entrepreneur Mychel “Snoop” Dillard. Prepped and poised for the big reveal, Mr. Rowand has mentioned that the original founders are likely to grace the grand opening next month.
In addition to the classic comfort food and clever cocktails found at all Esco locations, the Downtown establishment will introduce an array of distinctive dishes, drawing inspiration from the unmistakable flavors of Memphis’ southern cuisine. While Mr. Rowand remains tight-lipped about most of the surprises in store, he did tease that turkey ribs will be among the exclusive offerings unique to the location.
Guided by the Rowands’ creative vision, Esco Memphis is set to serve a memorable dining experience in the heart of the city.
