A new casual dining arcade is coming to Memphis.

According to permits recently filed with Develop901, El Alebrije is preparing to open at 4656 American Way, taking over the former Déjà Vu space. Owner Victor Salazar could not be reached for comment, so details about the establishment remain limited.

However, permits indicate that the family-friendly venue will offer a variety of drinks and light bites, such as charcuterie and other snacks, alongside its retro games.

The name El Alebrije translates to “fantastical creature,” so patrons can expect a whimsical and imaginative atmosphere.
