Ghost River Brewery & Taproom is on the brink of a remarkable expansion at its original South Main location. Owner Bob Keskey has unveiled ambitious plans to take over the neighboring building at 805 S Main St, transforming the taproom into a cutting-edge concert venue. With renovations already underway, this development promises to breathe new life into the city’s entertainment scene.

The reimagined space will feature a full-service kitchen and bar, complemented by a “massive soundstage” designed to host concerts and live events. Spanning a vast 3,000 square feet, the venue will offer indoor seating for up to 90 guests and outdoor seating for a whopping 1,100. Additionally, Keskey hints at a menu that transcends typical bar fare, featuring artisanal delights such as sliders, pizzas, and quesadillas.

The owner is determined to open the locale as quickly as possible, with a target date set for winter. While the season’s chill may discourage outdoor activities, Keskey envisions an al fresco area that will be abuzz with activity by February or March.

“We’re excited,” he shares. “I just wish it was open.”

Beyond the brews, Ghost River Brewery & Taproom is set to emerge as a premier entertainment epicenter in Memphis. Stay tuned for exciting updates as the venture unfolds.
