Oxford diners will soon know exactly who to blame for their next dining obsession. Mea Culpa, the latest project from hospitality heavyweights Joe Stinchcomb, Ross Hester, and Marco D’Emidio, is bringing pizza and focaccia sandwiches to the neighborhood, with plans to open before the year’s end.

Future guests will be able to stop in for a bite from Mea Culpa at 265 N Lamar Boulevard, Ste Y, in the space that previously housed Growler. The concept’s Instagram page describes it as “the sister restaurant to Good Day Cafe”, an eatery that is also owned and operated by Stinchcomb and Hester, alongside Patrick Hudgins.

There is not presently a great deal of information available about Mea Culpa beyond its pedigree, however an Instagram post did offer a taste of what’s in store, describing it as: “A fast casual lunch spot featuring focaccia sandwiches, cocktails and wines on tap, and grab & go options.”

An opening date is not yet available for Mea Culpa, however the website states it’s projected to open at some point this fall. Excited local foodies can follow the restaurant’s Instagram for progress updates.
