The owner of a recently launched New York-style deli has some exciting plans in the works.

Nagi Saleh, who introduced Memphians to Mug and Cup on Summer Ave last November, will soon open a second location at 1250 N Germantown Pkwy in Cordova. The manager for the deli told What Now Memphis that the new spot will offer a similar menu to the original, featuring a wide range of coffees, juices, croissants, sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, and more.

In addition to the second Mug and Cup, Saleh is planning a new concept called Hook and Hen, which will specialize in fried chicken and fish. The two upcoming Hook and Hen locations will be situated at 203 W Mitchell Rd and 4134 Weaver Rd in Whitehaven.

The manager said that Mug and Cup’s Cordova location is slated to open on February 10, 2025, while both Hook and Hens will debut in a couple of months.
