According to recently filed city records, a new restaurant is set to debut in Memphis, with Halal Sayed taking the lead. The establishment, operating under the name “King Babylon,” is located at 7041 E Shelby Dr Suite 117.

It is unclear whether or not the adjacent King’s Hookah Vape and Tobacco shop is associated with the forthcoming restaurant. However, it does seem that Sayed is no stranger to the local business arena. Public records reveal his ownership of the nearby Blue Nile Hookah and Vapor store, showcasing his familiarity with the area’s business landscape.

King Babylon will be located in the same shopping plaza as American Deli and Yum Yum’s Organic Popcorn.

Despite efforts to obtain further details, Sayed has not yet responded to inquiries from What Now Memphis. Stay tuned for updates as more information comes to light.
