Tekila Modern Mexican, an upscale Mexican restaurant owned by siblings Maria Gama, Jose Gomez, and Alex Gomez, is eagerly preparing to open its second location at 1433 Union Ave.
Initially, Jose Gomez had envisioned a December 2023 opening date. However, he has adjusted the timeline to ensure a January 2024 launch, guaranteeing that guests will be welcomed well before Valentine’s Day.
Gomez is scheduled to meet with an architect to discuss potential building modifications for the new location, which was once home to the historic Nineteenth Century Club. Simultaneously, his team of Mexican chefs is ardently working to craft and refine an updated menu for this exciting expansion.
