A few months ago, What Now Memphis reported that a Senatobia, Mississippi-based axe-throwing venue would be expanding both its space and offerings. Now, more details have emerged.
Owners Brandon and Destin Westmoreland recently announced that two new concepts will soon debut at Woodchucks’ newly expanded space. “This will essentially be three concepts in one location,” the husband-and-wife duo shared in a Facebook update.
Woodchucks—which remained open at 304 W Main St during renovations—will continue to offer axe throwing alongside its cocktails and “revamped menu.”
Meanwhile, Retro Dough Pizzeria & Arcade will bring back the 80s with its totally tubular arcade games and New York-style pizzas and pastas.
And the nostalgia doesn’t stop there. The third venue, The Hideout Speakeasy, will function as a 21+ private event space, as well as an exclusive, high-end craft cocktail bar serving small plates.
Though an exact grand opening date has not yet been set, the Westmorelands hope to launch their new venues by mid-November 2024.
