Jersey Mike’s is bringing its signature subs to Cordova.
The submarine sandwich franchise is planning to open in Germantown Station at 750 N Germantown Pkwy, Suite 110, according to a permit recently filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development.
The 1,477-square-foot space will undergo a $575,000 conversion, with updates including restroom renovations, electrical work, a new roof unit, kitchen equipment, new lighting, ceiling upgrades, and more.
Longtime franchisee Bret Dunnaway, who operates multiple Jersey Mike’s locations in the Memphis area, told What Now Memphis that he has parted ways with former partner Landon Corkren and will oversee this location independently.
Known for its made-to-order hot and cold subs and freshly sliced meats, Jersey Mike’s has been an American staple since its founding in 1956. Today, the franchise boasts more than 3,000 locations nationwide, including several in Greater Memphis.
Dunnaway is “still waiting on permits to get started” before he settles on an opening date.
