A Memphis storefront is getting ready to roll out the welcome for a new tire shop. Brown’s Tires is working its way through the various permitting processes necessary to open its doors and begin servicing area automobiles.

The shop has submitted an application for a certificate of occupancy with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for 1037 Jackson Avenue. According to the relevant paperwork, Brown’s Tires will span 1,100 square feet and will focus on “Vehicle Sales Service & Repair.”

Brown’s additionally has a sign permit under review for its intended location.

Brown’s does not currently have an opening timeline available for its Jackson Avenue storefront. The sign permit remains under review as of October 9, likewise the certificate of occupancy. This indicates both that forward momentum is occurring and that a bit of a wait remains before customers can stop into the shop. What Now Memphis has reached out to ownership and will update readers as details emerge.
