An upcoming new store is getting ready to furnish the needs of Memphis homes. A furniture store called Retail for Less has filed paperwork to open a location on Park Avenue, though little information is presently available about the concept.

Retail for Less currently has a certificate of occupancy under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for 3574 Park Avenue. The application offers a few points of interest about the storefront; Retail for Less will span 5,000 square feet and will have an occupant load of 83.

While the name does not immediately tip future customers off to the store’s purpose, the certificate of occupancy application states Retail for Less’s purpose clearly as simply a “furniture store”. Based on the title, it is likely that visitors will be able to enjoy the shop’s wares at reasonable prices.

An opening timeline is not presently available for Retail for Less-nor does the establishment have a digital footprint. The application remains under review as of October 5.
