Miami’s nightlife is getting a new addition with the upcoming debut of Upside, a music-driven cocktail destination headed to Wynwood’s Arts District. The venue will combine live music programming, visually driven interiors, and a cocktail-focused menu inspired by Miami’s creative culture.
Miami Welcomes a New Nightlife Destination

Set to open in Wynwood on June 5, Upside draws inspiration from the neighborhood’s creative energy through bold visuals, dramatic lighting, and an immersive layout designed to transition from daytime gatherings into late-night experiences.
The venue aims to combine music, cocktails, and social experiences in a setting that reflects Miami’s evolving cultural scene.
Cocktail Program and Highlight Dishes

Upside’s cocktail program will feature signature creations alongside modern takes on classic drinks. Guests can make choices from its selected mix of original creations and refined classics.
An example is the classic margarita’s low sugar version called She’s Salty. This drink has Don Julio Blanco, pamplemousse liqueur, monkfruit, and Grand Marnier. A layer of salt foam finishes the carefully crafted sip.
Trouble in Paradise blends Grey Goose Vodka with peach liqueur, dry vermouth, orange juice, and strawberry sherry syrup. The drink is finished with a gummy bear garnish.
Another sweet offering includes Main Character Energy, which features 21 Seeds Orange and Union Mezcal, lime juice, agave, blueberry water, and crème de banane.
Each of these drinks draws inspiration from art, music, and collaboration in the neighborhood.
Executive Chef Pablo Lamon, who competed on Top Chef Season 16, will lead the culinary program. Menu highlights include Braised Short Rib and Manchego Croquettes, Red Jalapeño Mac & Cheese Arancini, and Whipped Ricotta “Cream Cloud” toast.
A few other notable items on Upside’s menu are Lobster Nuggets, Smoked Wagyu Sirloin Bites, and Truffle Grilled Cheese Sandwich.
Music Takes Center Stage at Upside
Music serves as the foundation of the Wynwood destination’s concept. The venue will feature DJ appearances, curated music sets, and late-night performances. The programming will also include surprise sets and listening sessions aimed at music lovers and nightlife crowds.
After opening on Friday, June 5, the destination is going to bring a range of events. These include cocktail collaborations with leading spirit brands, DJ takeovers, game day watch parties, and art and fashion pop-ups.
The venue also plans to participate in major cultural events, including Wynwood Art Walk and FIFA World Cup-related activations in Miami.”
As Wynwood continues to grow as a nightlife hub, Upside aims to bring a new music-driven social experience to the neighborhood.
