Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders is continuing its South Florida expansion with another restaurant planned for the Hialeah area.

Cluck Holdings1 LLC filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a location at 7000 W. Hialeah Gardens Boulevard. No opening date has been announced.

The restaurant will further expand the Orlando-based company’s presence in Miami-Dade County. Huey Magoo’s opened its first Miami-Dade restaurant in Palmetto Bay in 2025 and has continued growing throughout the region.

Earlier this year, Huey Magoo’s opened another Hialeah restaurant, which marked the chain’s 90th location nationwide and third in Miami-Dade County.

Founded in Orlando in 2004 by Matt Armstrong and Thad Hudgens, Huey Magoo’s specializes in chicken tenders, which the company markets as “The Filet Mignon of Chicken.”

The tenders use chicken tenderloin and are available hand-breaded or grilled. The grilled version is marinated for 24 hours before cooking. Diners can also order tenders tossed in sauces, including Buffalo, Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper.

Beyond tender meals, the menu includes chicken sandwiches, wraps and salads, along with crinkle-cut fries, fresh-cut chips, coleslaw and a selection of dipping sauces.
