PopUp Bagels, the fast-growing bagel brand that built a cult following with its signature “Grip, Rip & Dip” experience, is expanding again in Miami.
The viral bagel spot is planning a new location at 801 Brickell Avenue, according to the Miami New Times. An opening date has not been announced.
Founded in 2020 in Westport, Connecticut, by Adam Goldberg and Jeff Lewis, PopUp Bagels began as a backyard pandemic project before exploding in popularity through social media. Rather than serving traditional bagel sandwiches, the concept focuses on serving hot, whole bagels designed to be torn apart and dipped into a rotating selection of flavored schmears and butters. The simplified menu and fresh-from-the-oven approach have helped the brand develop a loyal following.
The Brickell store continues the company’s aggressive expansion across the Sunshine State, joining recently opened locations in Delray Beach, West Palm Beach and Aventura, with additional Miami-area shops also in the pipeline. PopUp Bagels now operates about 40 locations nationwide, including eight in Florida, with more planned as the company continues its rapid growth.
