A health-focused fast-casual eatery is set to open in Oakland Park this fall.

Pure Green will open at 3875 N. Dixie Hwy., led by franchise owners and lifelong South Florida residents Cesar Murillo and Michael Hernandez.

In a business proposal, the duo said they wanted to invest in Oakland Park’s growing community and create a welcoming space where customers would return several times a week for the smoothies, grub and atmosphere.

Pure Green focuses on a menu designed to support energy, recovery, immunity, focus and overall performance.

Menu highlights include the Pure Power superfood smoothie, made with cauliflower, banana, almond butter, coconut butter, grass-fed whey protein, almond milk and cinnamon; the Collagen Berry bowl, featuring acai blended with almond milk and strawberries and topped with blueberries, strawberries, almond butter, hemp granola and chia seeds; and the Golden Girl cold-pressed juice, made with pineapple, turmeric, lemon and ginger.

Founded in 2014 by wellness entrepreneur Ross Franklin, Pure Green aims to promote healthier communities through nutrient-focused food and beverages.

The brand has expanded to more than 150 locations across over 25 states. The new outpost will join existing South Florida locations in Deerfield Beach, Sunrise, Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Aventura, Miami Lakes, Miami Beach and Boynton Beach.

The team aims for a November opening. Visit the Pure Green website and follow along on Instagram for the latest updates.
