Boston-based DraftKings, a brand known for its sports betting services, has recently ventured into the restaurant industry with the opening of its first Sports & Social bar in collaboration with Live! Dining & Entertainment last year.

Since then, the company has announced a location in the former George Jones Museum near Broadway to open later this year, and as of yesterday, has plans for a location inside Nashville’s Green Hills Mall at 2117 Green Hills Village Dr Suite 282, according to the Nashville Post.

The bar will be taking the place of the former Panera Bread location in the mall. A grand opening date is currently unconfirmed, and may not be until later this year or early 2024.

According to a DraftKings press release, “the Sports & Social/DraftKings venues will be designed by ICRAVE, an internationally acclaimed award-winning strategy, design, and development firm, and promises to fill a niche by providing an upscale, premier sports and entertainment experience.”

The menu at Sports & Social will likely serve a variety of popular cocktails and food seen on its other menus at its 11 current locations, such as pork carnitas nachos, truffle mushroom flatbread, burgers, tacos and salads.

“A powerhouse name in dining and entertainment, Sports & Social is an upscale gaming parlor and social lounge that features the best in sports-watching and state-of-the-art audio/visual displays, made-from-scratch menu items, curated cocktails and exciting entertainment. Sports & Social is a concept by Live! Dining & Entertainment, a division of The Cordish Companies,” states the original press release.
