A new restaurant appears to be planned for Peabody Corner Marketplace in downtown Nashville at 319 Peabody St. It seems that the new concept, Sumoyaki Bar & Grill, will be occupying the food court’s fifth restaurant stall, according to permits.

Peabody Corner Marketplace owner Spencer Wang appears to be heading up the new concept.

Permits indicate that no construction work has been proposed for the space thus far aside from establishing a new restaurant and bar concept.

Currently, Peabody Corner Marketplace is home to several restaurants, including Speedy Gonzalez Tacos & Thangs, Blue Nile Cafe and QC Kitchen.

As of now, there has been no further information released on an opening timeline.

What Now Nashville has reached out to Wang for more information on the upcoming spot but has yet to receive further information. Stay tuned for updates on this location’s opening.
