A local favorite Southern comfort food restaurant in Tennessee will be shutting down its services this week. After two years in Hendersonville, Puckett’s has announced that it will permanently close the location. The chain is also planning to close its Cullman location on Friday.

Puckett’s Hendersonville Location to Close This Week

The restaurant is popularly known for its scratch-made comfort food, lively music, and a relaxed atmosphere. Puckett’s menu includes Southern dishes such as fried chicken, hashbrown casserole, and Nashville hot chicken sandwiches.

The Tennessee-based restaurant chain is operated by the A. Marshall hospitality group. The Hendersonville location of Puckett’s was established in 2024. The restaurant is located at Glenbrook Center, 1039 Glenbrook Way, in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

In a social media post, the restaurant announced that the Hendersonville location will serve its final meal on September 18.

The restaurant group explained that the closure was in response to the current economic environment. They further added that the closure decision was also “part of a strategic look at how we can best position Puckett’s for long-term success.”

The group thanked the community, customers, and team members for their support.

Cullman Location to Close on September 18

Along with the Hendersonville location, the restaurant chain is also closing its Cullman location on the same day. The restaurant at 6076 AL-157 in Cullman, Alabama, will also close on September 18, 2026.

The Cullman location opened in 2022 and is the first Puckett’s location outside of Tennessee.

While both the Hendersonville and Cullman locations are closing, the Puckett’s chain will continue to serve the community with its other locations. The team wrote, “We look forward to welcoming you at our six Tennessee locations in Chattanooga, Columbia, Franklin, Murfreesboro, Nashville, and Pigeon Forge.”

The group assured that the impacted employees of both locations will receive support and help. They said, “Our people remain our priority, and we’re working directly with impacted employees to provide support and explore opportunities across the A. Marshall Hospitality family of restaurants.”

Both Puckett’s closures in Hendersonville and Cullman mark a significant loss for the dining community.
