According to a new business application filed with the Davidson County Clerk, a Mediterranean concept is slated to open inside the brightly-colored cottage at 1301 McGavock Pk. called Sabell’s in East Nashville. The restaurant comes from the minds of husband-and-wife owners Matt and Stephanie Sabelli and will be their first restaurant concept.

The Inglewood neighborhood in East is also slated to include a future location of Ladbybird Taco, Mommy’s Tacos, and an upcoming “food truck forest.” The area is already home to the popular Mitchell’s Delicatessen and Dose cafe.

The concept does not yet have a website set up, however, an Instagram account has been made with over 480 followers already anticipating the arrival of the new restaurant.

According to an article from the Nashville Scene, Sabell’s will serve “Mediterranean small plates, beer, wine, spirits and a selection of zero-proof cocktails,” and will include a dog-friendly outdoor patio.

An interview with Stephanie Sabelli is forthcoming. What Now Nashville will report back with additional details as they emerge.
